So my friend Gwenny and I went out for a short jaunt in the woods to try out OREGON FAL'ER'S BK9 and she took some pics for fun. So.... Here ya go!

Made a little fire with the "survival tool" my sister got me for Christmas, it's got a firesteel rod and some magnesium and a wood handle. I've made a bunch of fires, but this was actually my first firesteel fire, so yay me!

Where do you guys live at? It looks like PNW woods there.

Haha yeah, I have my name on my shirt because it's my old one I used to wear at LAN parties. (LAN's are where nerds bring computers together and play internet games all night long)

I want to get one real badly, I just borrowed it. It's a glorious tool, a machete/hatchet/knife/use for everything blade. It's got a perfect weight for chopping stuff up. I don't know if I am going to give it back :P

Cool pics. Looks like a great place to bum around. The second picture says it all for me. Not sure what it is about it, but it has all the elements of a great forest. Plus there is a bk9 in tree, so what isn't there to like?

Will second the above, definitely nice to have chicas on the becker forum and on BF in general. I now know they exist, for real!:D

Really nice pics. The BK-9 is an awesome chopper, I've chopped seven and eight inch logs with mine when I had it. These days I seldom do much chopping though...when I go I tend to be too glad for the silence to want to wreck it. Lol, I have progressively worked my way down to the smaller models....7, 2, 13, 11, and 14.

So wait, you took his BK9? We should we punish OREGON FAL'ER for letting go of his 9. You should get to keep it for conning him out of it.

On the (slightly) serious side, it looks like a good place to get out to, and some really nice pics. Great quality, very vibrant. Mine all look like I took 'em through a screen door.

Anyways, you need to get your post count up and your thread count so you can get your number. Or win the Feb Challenge.

I agree with Flexxx, it is good to have ladies on here. Might help me convince mine that she needs to stop buying purses and start buying knives.

I don't have a problem with her purses, or shoes, provided they get some use. But seriously, she has like a bajillion that just sit in the closet holding random amounts of loose change and old receipts. The progression goes like this: Buy Purse = Swap Purse Out With Current Purse = Two Days Later Get New Purse and Continue The Cycle

After about the fifth time of her losing her credit cards to the giant mass of purses I told her if she didn't knock it off I was gunna kick her in the ovaries.

She has a really nice Columbia one that is really neat looking, and she swears it is the best of the lot and holds everything perfectly, but she never uses the thing, so it is kinda pointless.

Shoes, well, I am just tired of tripping over those. Thigh-high leather boots though, those she can get as many as she wants. Rawr.
