becker bk10

Oh, I think this will be a working knife. It's what I've been looking for! Perfect in every way.. I feel so awesome right know..

Nice. I have yet to use my 10. I don't know what I'm waiting for. For some reason, the 10 always get forgotten when the time comes to use my knives. I always end up reaching for a Tweener, 5 or 2 first.

So I took my new Bk10 out on a family camping trip, the one I bought didn't have that black protective layer. First few day it was awesome but on the third day it started to get rust spots on the blade, i tried to rub the rust off, came off a bit and so I started to rub onion juice for a quick pantina cure. It worked so now I want to bring back that shine it had when I first got it. I was thinking mineral oil and extra fine steel wool... Any suggestions?

Fine sand paper and some time...id try 1k first. It that doesnt work go to about 800. If you dont want to sand it get some metal polish and a buffer.
