I have been eyeing the becker necker bk11 recently it looks like a nice solid small knife. I was just wondering what everyones opinions on the knife how you like that sorta thing.:D

I really like them, I have big hands and they seem to have the best handles for big hands of the neckers that I have looked at. I like the looks of the new scales.

I like mine quite a bit. Got it with me right now :) Its a pretty thick little unit. Ive had nothing but good experiences with 1095 steel. For the price you cant go wrong imo.

It's my most used necker (I pocket carry it, though). The factory edge angle was a tad thick, so I stripped it and convexed it. It didn't take that much work (paint came off easily with some supermarket bought paint stripper) and it performs a lot better now. The bare steel handle was a bit small for me, it's perfect with a bit of paracord.

For the money, it's an excellent knife. The only thing I'm not thrilled about is the sheath. I'd like something smaller and a bit tighter (retention is 100% secure, but it rattles a bit).

Here's a crappy pic:

I love mine. It's just the right size for everyday tasks, and holds an edge very well. I use mine every day with no complaints.

I love mine. Like many, I have stripped the coating off the blade, re-done the edge, and wrapped it in paracord. I think it benefits from this treatment.

it is a great knife! it's the one that started my addiction.

GO FOR IT! you wont be disappointed!

Great price, bottle opener comes in handy, blade is bigger than the Izulas'. all around pretty decent knife.

The only issue I have with mine is that the sheath seems to dull the edge just a bit when taking the knife in and out. But other than that the 1095 steel isn't bad, here's a pic of mine after I convexed the edge...

If you get it you may also want to check out the optional TDI belt clip that is made to fit its sheath. Comes in very handy for clipping the knife anywere you want.

its no secret im sold on Beckers for the quality, not to mention the price. my BK11 is one heck of a handy knife thats easy to touch up and keep razor sharp. mine has been in my boots for a week or so now, and thats where its gonna stay. definitely in the top 5 knives ive ever bought for under $40, but too big for a neck knife in my opinion.

heres my necker, its ugly but i like having a sharp point and the waves make good places to rest my finger for delicate work.

Hey that's pretty cool! What did you use for the jimping and reshaping??

I have both models of the BK11, the 1095 and the San Mai, paracord wrapped. I wear them on a mercharness and I like them both very much. They both take a very nice edge too. :]

The Becker is a great knife for the price. The handle is a little short for me, but not too bad.

UPS came by today with my BN. First impression, crazy sharp and fits my hand well. Now I dont have big meaty mitts but I do wear a XL glove due to long fingers.
