Becker bk11

I am new to owning carbon steel knives, but this thing is solid in my book. Great handle, sweet bottle
opener, love the high grind, though I also like the older saber grind version I've seen pics of here.
Blade comes razor sharp. Not sure what everyones always talking about the sheath rattling, mine
is fine, and I love it. I actually use it for its neck knife purpose, though my cord wrap also serves
as a belt clip because I didn't feel like buying the $15 TDI clip. Great knife, great price. Micarta
is coming in the mail for it, can't wait.

Holy threadrevive! :D
Nice knife ;). You do have the newer, laser etched version with new coating. The sheath rattling and such were issues (of issues at all) of the previous, roll stamped version with smoother coating.

Great knife. Get the micarta handles & the TDI clip. Makes it 100% easier to use comfortably. Also, the 14 w/handle kit & TDI clip ROCKS. It is my new favorite small knife.

I love the BK11...it's a great knife. Here are a couple I stripped, got wooden scales for, and gave to my boys.

I have owned a few. I gifted all but one. It's a keeper but I wish it would hold its edge longer. Good news is, its easy to resharpen and it is very strong and tough. I'd like to see it made in M390.

Here is one of mine, got a lot of flack for covering the bottle opener!

My micarta scales are on their way, however I am not getting the TDI clip. I'm not in
the position right now to be spending $15 on a metal clip that I don't absolutely need.
Maybe in a few years I might track one down, but for now my wrap job fits on my belt
perfectly, on either side. Anyways, I WASN'T having the rattling but now I am after
stripping and a little bit of sanding. Oh well, it still snaps in there and won't fall out no
matter how hard I shake it. Can't wait to put those scales on, I know it'll be a whole
new knife. And then for the patina.
