Becker BK16 FPR question

I don't get why people are removing their FPR markings myself. I do believe in using what I have but that does not require stripping off the FPR markings. It is yours so do as you please but in 3 Yeats do not expect me to believe you when you yell me you had one of the first ones made.

uh....
First, I dont care who knows I have 1 of ~250 FPRs
Second, If it being a Sabre instead of a FullFlat dont convince ya then nothing I say will anyways LOL

also...all 3 FPR models are stamped-Logo instead of the Laser-Logo which all reg production Tweeners will have

Oh, it's gonna happen! Matter of time. And I have to devise a method to boil outside. Thinking propane grill LOL

How about you let me come over and build a 6' fire, we can fondle Becker's while the bleach boils.

I don't think that will happen, based only on the distance from Florida to Montana or Arizona, but a huge fire is still a good idea.

I actually thought about a fire, but I would want consistent water-boiling temp I would think...I will figger something out.

BTW...
Montana is MT
Arizona is AZ

Your homework assignment is to report back what states I'm actually residing in LOL!

Since boiling is a phase change, liquid to gas, it occurs at one temp only. That temp is a property of the material. So it won't matter how much extra heat u add the liquid will still be the same temp if it's boiling, so any heat source will do.

Good luck I'm thinking about something similar myself and will be curious to see how it turns out

I meant I wanted a easier heat source. Something that I know will stay hot enuff without maintenance. Don't really wanna stand over a fire for an hour. Even moonshiners have converted to propane heat over wood. ;) I'm not a great cook but even ignorant hillbillies like me understand the concept of how water boils

Build a 6' tall pile of wood in some fire burning shape, put the pot of bleach next to it, or on top if your daring, light it and within 10 minutes you will be able to forge steel in that fire for the next 2 or 3 days. I built a fairly small fire a couple weekends ago, it was only about 2 1/2' tall before I lit it, after about 5 minutes I had to move because I like my leg hairs as they are. Anyhow, when I went to put it out it took almost 15 gallons of water, and even then other people were able to reignite it an hour and a half later.
