Handle scales made from Ipe tropical hardwood. Ipe is a dense,tough tropical hardwood that is impervious to weather and wont burn. Each set of handles are hand rubbed with tung oil to enhance beauty and weather resistance.The color of the wood is natural,and not stained and runs through and through,therefore it cannot be worn off. You can refresh the finish whenever you see fit by simply cleaning,then oiling them. Scratches and gouges can be minimized with light sanding and re-oiling. These handles come complete with Stainless Steel hardware that will not rust,corrode or discolor your wood. Although these handles are beautiful wood,they along with their Stainless Steel hardware will provide a lifetime of hard service. these handles are available in wood only or with liners in Red,Green,Yellow,Blue or white.
