HOLY CRAP!! you're a lucky bugger arent you! we cant get handguns in australia over 38 caliber :( unless you are a big game tour guide or shoot western action and even then it has to be single action. as i said we dont have much money so i have a gerber prodigy (which in my opinion is extremely underrated) and a couple of cheap folders and a swiss army knife. i also have an anschutz .22lr bolt action and a mossberg 22wm from 25 odd years ago. i'm keen on getting more though. i live for knives, firearms and meat :D lol

Actually Moose, I can order them from Tomars, pay 50 bucks for shipping and that is STILL cheaper than buying them from a vendor here! I'd love to support Australian businesses but I just cant justify the large price increase.

Spud, its nice to find another Aussie here whos both under 18 (I'm 15 myself) and also likes Becker knives. I'm also kinda interested since you said this was your first fixed blade...How many folders do you have? When I first got into knives I bought alot of cheap crappy blades. Appart from that I cant help you out, never been hunting nor have I ever processed something the size of a pig.

its gonna be my 2nd fixed blade as i have a gerber prodigy. actually no, i've got a couple of butcher knives i use on pigs, goats and roos. oh and theres a great website i go on called of aussie knives and they dont have very bad prices considering its in australia. they have the best knife prices that i can find so i recommend that you check them out (just so you know i'm not affiliated with them in any way, i just like their prices).

Yeah man, been on their site a couple times, not bad, simmilar prices to other sites here in Oz. Only time I'm prepared to pay the extra cash for blades here is for knives that I cant import or dont feel comfortable doing so (folders, machetes). I do urge you to check out Tomars though man, the dirt cheap prices more than compensates for the pricey shipping. Btw, I'm pretty sure that unless the site supports Bladeforums you cant actually post about them here.
