Becker BK7. Review, Test, Day on the Farm. *VERY PIC HEAVY*

I can't see the pics :(

I know, I overloaded Photobucket again, I guess I need to go Pro, just pay 'em the money so they will quit shutting me off LOL

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Here's what it looks like now, after the beating I cleaned her up.

Well dang, I shoulda looked earlier. I'll have to check it out when you get the pics working again. I have a 7, but haven't put it to much use yet, but really like it.

Bah, Im tired of it, Im gonna pay them their money so I dont have this aggravation again.

Lol, everyone wants money from a person, may as well just give it out right? I'm sure I'll get there someday and have to fork over some cash too.

I payed them, just waiting to see when it will take effect, I am gonna be enraged if they don't upgrade my account soon, or if the ''exceeded'' pics still dont change until next month's cycle. I apologize for the hassle...it shouldn't happen again.

I can see all the photos. I have a paid Photobucket account as well. Well worth it, imo. I have tons of photos on several forums.

Use imageshack. You'll have to store the URLs in some sort of text file (Word, Notepad) but the images never get deleted or moved.

It's not personally relevant, since I added a patina to the bare blade of mine anyway, but I'm curious: to what grit did you polish that 7? I brought mine up to 320 since the hardware store had nothing higher, and the scratches would still have been slightly visible if the patina was not there. But it's still smooth to the touch.

400, but that was just a quick & dirty polish. I go up to 2,000 grit if Im trying for a nice polish. I haven't decided what Im doing finish-wise on this 7 yet, so I just buffed it a lil while I decide.

Excellent post and great information. Thanks for sharing! Great find on that Mossberg, too! Would not lie if I said I was not a LITTLE bit jealous at that deal. :P I will be eyeballing a 7 after a 14 and some tweener love.

Great review! My friend has a BK7 and I love it!
How do you think the BK5 compares to the BK7 in terms of chopping, batoning and all round utility?

I haven't actually *used* my BK5 yet..other then fondling it and some light carving. When I get it out and test it I will let ya know.

Nice review thrill. You used the heck out of that 7. Makes me want to go chop something up with mine now. Nice looking horse too.
