Becker BK9 & BK7 Availability????

Has anyone else chucked the BK1 Brute into a tree? Mabey its just me but I get a thrill out of throwing this knife, it flies true. The only thing I have to do before I throw it is take the pigtail off. This presents a problem because the pigtail has saved me on more that one occasion when I was chopping with it.

Nope, but I will. Right now it is literally 40 below out and the trees are like iron. I have limbed some evergreens with my BK1 and the sap is like rock. B.T.W...... how do becker OEM grips stand up to throwing, has anyone shattered one.

(I cant use apostrophes, quotation marks or question marks as I have a software or keyboard glitch)

And I'm sending off a Blackjack Brute to Justin at Ranger Knives for some new micarta scales. Those would hold up in below-zero weather BTW.

I ordered a BK9 and a BK2 the other day but I'm haveing trouble contacting Bestknives.com. I've been trying to call them since last week but I get no answer. I hope there still open for business.
 
Hummmm? BK9's, If they have BK9's I wounder where they got them?

No bashing here, there could be allot of reasons for Best Knives not to reply. If he is a one or two man opperation, there could be an unexpected illness or somthing like that. I would wait to hear from him.

But no seller has had BK9's since ??? well its been a while. Hummm, BK9's hu?

looks like tom is looking for a new source of bk9's. Maybe I shouldnt have bought so many from him. jk.
 
I guess I only have myself to blaim for not looking into this company before I placed my order. I'm just concerned that if in fact Bestknives does not have any more Beckers, how difficult its going to be to get refunded. Does anyone know if PayPal offers a buyer protection program where they will help recover my funds?

If they don't have them, PayPal refunds are easy, and if the seller does a full refund, there's no charges applied on either end. You should be find.

My bet is that the website isn't showing inventory, but you might get lucky yet and wind up with a brand new BK-9.

I think BestKnives is still reliable, so I wouldn't pursue a charge back just yet. They've just gotten slow in the communications department. Sounds like under-staffing to me. Who knows though?
 
Guyon, thanks for you help. I received a purchase confirmation from bestknives but no shipping confirmation. I'm hopeing your right in that they may still be a descent company. We'll see what happens.
 
CRKS I got an e-mail today from bestknives stating a 1 to 2 weeks ship on my BK-9. So I guess they are'nt in stock.
