do the becker 9's come with the small bk13 still? i was debating on buying the 9 and if the 13 comes with it ill really buy with the quickness.

They came with them for a while as a promo. The free BK13's were made in China.
After Ka-Bar decided to produce the BK13's in the US, they were no longer offered as free with the bigger knives.
I believe the BK-9 sheaths DO still come with a slot designed for the BK-13, however.
Now, some vendors may still have some of the freebie combos in stock; your best bet is to ask before you buy.

To add, you can't go wrong IMO, even if you buy the two knives separately, though I understand the desire to get a "bonus" knife.
Your best bet might be lesser trafficked sites, where inventory doesn't move as fast. The big movers (Amazon, etc.) have probably long since sold off any free Remoras.

Just order the 13 (Made in USA) one as an extra anyways. I have a few and they're great knives to have stashed in different places.

Recently, Bladeforums gave away free BK13's for folks who did the appropriate membership upgrades.
If you're looking for a free Remora, keep an eye out for another round of membership giveaways. That's in the works right now.
Also, you might be able to win an even nicer knife from Ka-Bar. Details to be announced pretty soon.

you have my full attention. where do they post this kind of info? i must have been totally oblivious to the last round of give a ways. which in turn doesnt surprise me nor should it you LOL.

The BK9 is priced so reasonably that a "bonus" knife would not have been a factor in my purchase decision. The Ka-Bar price is at least $25 less than what the old Camillus version sold for, as I recall.

If you want a BK13 also, I just saw the USA-made version for $19 at an online knife dealer.

Keep an eye on the Announcements section at the top of the forum listings.
They're shaded gray and don't stand out as much, but that's where such things typically show up.
I bet there will be an announcement in the Becker forum when the time comes.
Last round, if you upgraded to Gold or Platinum, you got a Remora. I expect it'll be the same this time.

when it comes down to it yeah you get a lot of knife for the $$. ijust knew they would stop doing the free knife thing and i wanted in before it stopped. looks like i was months late lol:D... its a super knife and to be honest, ill get one soon. granted i have a small gerber ax and an Ontario Machette so i never needed a "chopper". however, its a must have knife imo.. fits my bill too.
