Good deal on getting the BK9 back but I'm curious - why isn't it going back into circulation? Getting a new one is cool and all but the old girl certainly seems to have quite a number of miles left in her.

I don't know, it just has a special reverence for me now I suppose. Maybe if the SHTF, it would be my go to knife, I kind of want to see if KaBar did anything different with their iteration of the 9.

Whew, that was close. After I posted that I was afraid I might have to get up off my butt and go take the thing out on occasion. Now I can sit here on my butt and let my entire body atrophy...:barf:

I like my BK9. It is a great knife for the money and better than most double the cost.
