Becker boxes

I have only saved one box, the unopened one that my sons bk5 came in. When he's old enough he gets it. NIB. I just end up storing my knives in the sheath in a tool bag from Home Despot. I have room for paracord bundles abs sharpening instruments also. Quickly running out of room however. Becker Bug strikes again.
 
I use them to ship stuff to other people and also use them as soap molds.
 
I still have all my old boxes in a cabinet in the garage. Always saved them in case I decided to sell a knife or something. Always worth a little more when in a box from what I have seen.


If anyone doesn't want their boxes, Let me know, I may have some uses for them and would pay for shipping to get them.
 
I've gotten rid of all but 2 boxes so far. One is the boxes that still contains the grivory, bells, and whistles from my BK10 LE. The other is the BK14SR box I just got for Christmas, and haven't gotten around to tossing yet. I keep all the knives I'm not currently using in a rubbermaid storage bin.

This must be a big cabinet. Don't you own like 209 bk16's???

All my boxes are somewhere in my basement, although I can't see needing them for anything.
 
I move every 2-3 years for work, so I keep the boxes to protect and store my knives during the moves. I just bought a few big stackable orange bins at Home Depot to store them.

Buried with a BK2... awesome. I like the looks of the BK4 most of all, but the 9 is really growing on me. I think the 21 will take the cake, I LOVE kukri's.
 
I keep the boxes of my users in a big Rubbermaid tub with locking latches with moth balls for pest prevention (silverfish and mice) and silica gel bags for mold prevention on a shelf out in the shop.

I keep the NIB "future user and gift knives" in a similar tub. I do have back-ups of my most used favorites.

Ya know, I once considered asking my wife to do something special like that for me ... fav gun, knife, etc. I'm just concerned of where she'd stick 'em.
 
I keep my boxes stacked on top of my cabinet. I don't know, it's just I don't want to lose 'em!
My knives are stored in a drawer..
