Derek did one of these threads a while back, and in the interim, I've slowly stocked my bag. And other folks have had a chance to pick one of these bags up.
I have very much enjoyed carrying it on car trips. I haven't flown with it yet, but I expect the bag will be a most welcome addition in this regard as well.
I did this quickly with a cell phone, so the pics aren't excellent, but they'll do.
Loaded up.
The right side pocket usually handles my old-man peekers. Sometimes a GPS unit or phone.
Stole this idea from Derek. Left side pocket holds a Nalgene Backpacker bottle.
The hip-side zip pocket is a good place for important papers.
Another good spot for these thinner items is the zip pocket under the pouch. Peekaboo!
The bag also has two good options for CC. One velcro pocket is accessible with the flap closed.
Another similar pocket can be found under the main flap.
Here's a filled interior view.
A bag dump (sans pistol and mag). We're looking at the following kit: water bottle, shemagh, space blanket, passport, flashlight, fire kit, first aid kit, SAK, head lamp, compass, signal mirror, radio/weather alert, BK-24, Leatherman Wingman, glasses, chapstick, pen.
The Becker Field Bag. Don't leave home without it.
Would love to see what some of the new bag owners are carrying.
