Becker forum exchange?

I'll talk to E tomorrow and see what he says, if its a go, or he sees this and posts, we'll talk to El Sparko Diablo about it, and make it happen. I think its a good idea, Beckers of the world united, under our illustrious BFC pavillion.

How about dark chocolate...:D...No really sounds great, I've had good experience with the exchange as I'm sure everyone else has but to have our own would enhance the Becker forum...
 
I'd be all for it. But, if you stop and think about it, who'd wanna sell their Becker knives? :confused: :p

This would be great! I was just talking to Myker about this today and wanting to be able to give Beckerheads first crack at trades.
 
Spark was very kind on providing those other Beckers the other day at a super nice deal, a sub-forum would make for brisk business, and keep it out of the main arena.

with all the new models coming out, it's going to be potentially busy. as well, i wonder if there's a way for our valued dealers to get in on this? mmm. buy/sell/trade all in one area. fun!

the flip side of this is that with all the for-sale areas broken out, there's no way (that i know of), to scope all the deals, all the time... i don't know how some of you do it, must sit in front of that computer ALL day... the gripping-hand of course is that BF is the hugest of huge knife forums on the tubes, and breaking out has to happen, as sales would be 20 pages down in 5 minutes. ah, success :>
 
Id prefer keeping it gathered in one subforum. That way one can quickly check out the new deals that have popped up since last logon.
 
Ok, I talked to Ethan today about it, and he thinks its a great idea. I will be starting the process by talking it over with El Sparko Diablo, this evening, to see what its going to take.

You ask, you recieve, lets just make sure its not a waste of space on BFC, not saying its up to us to support all the purchases, but, if we want it, and we get it, lets make the most of it, mmmkay?

Thats great to hear moose, not that i'll be selling anymore of my Beckers though :D
Who knows maybe i'll get lucky and find somebody thats selling a Brute that will only cost me a arm and not a arm & leg :eek:
 
but would this only have to be about selling beckers? i'm sure others would like to buy and other knives as well.
 
Nice! A bakery bartering Becker bazaar! Cool idea, and you may end up increasing the ranks of the Beckerheads as a result.

My wife is a baker, a pastry baker to be specific. I'm sure she'd love to trade some of her goods so I can have more toys... you know in an ideal world, and in my dreams.
 
I would imagine that the exchange rules would still apply to our little exchange that we get started here for us? Is it just supporting member to list items for sell?
