Becker forum exchange?

but would this only have to be about selling beckers? i'm sure others would like to buy and other knives as well.

KC, BFC already has a very wide variety of places on the Exchange to buy and sell. The idea is to allow Becker fans a place to buy and sell Beckers, and allow us the opportunity to get a shot at BKT knives. It would just be a specialized selling forum, for BKT products.

so similar to what buck knives has going on, they also have the regular forum and also the buck knives for sale forum.

would someone be upset if say they were selling a becker brute, and a esse 5 in the same post or does it strictly have to only be becker?

Most excellent idea !! Way to go Machine.. although I really don't think the senior sparkster is gonna go for it, doesn't make business sense..

It would be Becker only, thus the divide of a seperate sales forum.

Lets see what Spark has to say about it first, and we'll go from there.

sounds great! would this be for all types of members? might get a chance to bulk up the becker collection

TY :p I only suggested it cause I wanna trade a BK2 for a 7 without having to wade through retarded offers on the exchange,

Yeah, what kind of cookies?

I mean if they are like really, really good, then probably, yeah. I am partial to oatmeal raisin myself.

Derek, I hate to break it to you, but oatmeal sucks and raisins are widely known to cavort with the devil, raise taxes, and taste bad. Now can we talk about chocolate chip cookies, please?!

You both need to get together in the kitchen and work this out.
The answer is simple:

Oatmeal chocolate-chip - with lots of cinnamon (dark chocolate. duh.)

For the record, I'm in favor of the exchange.
I need a Becker part now, and the idea of going to the exchange for it is daunting.
I've gotta review the sales policies anyway, it's time.

the flip side of this is that with all the for-sale areas broken out, there's no way (that i know of), to scope all the deals, all the time... i don't know how some of you do it, must sit in front of that computer ALL day...

Yeah, it's called work. I'm in front of dual screens from 7:00 to 4:00 every day. Then when I get home I'm either on my work laptop or my Xoom. I'm actually starting to type better on capacitive touchscreens.

The Becker Exchange sounds awesome, I only buy Becker's these days with an occasional smattering of Kershaw. My only other knives are from Kershaw, OKC and Glock. I may buy 1 or 2 ESEE's but I'm sometimes irked by some of the more verbal, holier than thou, ESEE fanboy/elitests.

Ugh, hate chocolate. Won't touch the stuff. Not since "the incident"...

Stop right there.
No tainting of my chocolate with the horrors in your mind!

You may trade all your chocolate for knives on the dedicated Becker exchange.

In fact, if you pay me with a Kabar XXXXX I'll dispose of that chocolate on your behalf. Now THAT's a deal.

Although it wouldn't do any good for me (since I'm not willing to pay shipping and taxes), I think it might be a nice idea for you Americanos. And maybe there are some nice people from the UK who want to get rid of their BK7 or 9 :D

I also support the idea of a BKT forum exchange.

Although I am not a serious collector,,, my assortment does have 7 Becker knives.

Regards,
FK
