Drove up to Safeco field to see Seattle get their asses handed to them by Baltimore...grrrrr
But I did see this bad boy rolling down I-5.

That is crazy that you spotted that. You can walk inside it and there are murals all over that my mom painted.

Went to check on the Osprey chicks yesterday and wound up paddling around in the woods. The water is really up around here.

Momma was really fussing at me so I didn't get any closer, but I did get a glimpse of the chicks. That nest is the size of a Kia.

Went exploring in the backwater for a while. Very quiet, weird and kind of nice.

I have always liked the Chevy El Camino. It is the mullet of the car world, but I have rode in some really nice cartrucks over the years..from the first ride I had in a freind of a friend's balanced and blueprinted 454 (where I was positive I was actually going to die) to cruising in the completely cherry El Camino one of the deacons at my old church owned. I have often thought of getting a junker to make a project out of.

About 3 months ago this one showed up in the parking lot next to our building, it hasn't moved since...

Every time I thought about walking over there to see if someone is selling it, I talk myself out of it... I really don't need another project.

Yesterday I head out to grab some lunch and this is at the corner of the parking lot...

It is really nice, all the chrome is clean....

I have one window in the building I can see through from my work area... I look up this morning and glance out the window... Who parked in front of our building..?

you can barely see the top of it over the hedge...it is another El Camino! lol, either they are stalking me or this is a sign from above.

Damn! Most I have ever needed was a small cooler to haul my fish home, What kind of lure was that guy using anyway?

My old boss had an El Camino. I got to drive it a few times and it was crazy. Pretty sure he had a 350 in his with a bunch of Edelbrock mods.

I was driving it to the lumber yard one day to pick up some supplies and being the kid I was, I stomped it...and the throttle cable stuck. It took me a few moments to realize I just needed to turn it off, but that wasn't until after I laid some rubber circles around the intersection.

Warrior those pics are awesome! I love the old classics.. I went to a huge car show last year while visiting Minnesota and got to see some really nice ones and some cool rat rod versions too.

MRN8 - that is a great story, they are donut machines for sure :D
