I started wanting a BK7 like a year ago, friend of mine had one and it was a beast... and then he snapped the tip off. We were both like "WTF?"

Long story short - he needed fishing bait and got genius idea to use it to pry off wood bark to find some bait... ended up up with snapped tip.

I still kinda want BK7 man...

If I was going to use one as a pry bar, it would be the BK-2.

Definitely a small knife, that punches well above it's weight, and it ain't no slouch, in the weight department. 😉

I Used the Camillus BK2 Campanion since way before Kabar got ahold of the Backer Line...
Had to modify the handle tho, with a Hand-Sanded twin slab set of Green Ghost G10 I obtained...
Then, Had to figure out How to Install a 4-Line Paracord D-Guard, Without Showing Any Knots, Right?
The Lanyard is independent, so you can see that double grapevine Climber's knot, but the other Eight...?

Then, Had to figure out How to Tiger-Stripe that Puppy with some animal portraits...

Completed Green Ghost Handle Project 20201002.jpg

The animals are: a Howling Wolf, a Sitting Owl, Two Fish, Top View, & an Eagle Head Portrait... As Best I Could.
That Camillus Finish is Amazingly Tough Stuff! I backed off from trying anything on the other side, for the moment, Heh, Heh...
The most difficult task was carving those hex holes!
I kept asking my machinist friends:
Hey, Do You have an Hexentric Countersink Tool?
I left mine in my other pants...
