Found out today it works as a Dzus fastener wrench. Dzus screws are the quarter turn easy off fasteners found on planes. Mine where on an air filter grill. The washer fit perfect.

this is way cooler than my "allen key shoved in the wallet or sheath" method.

From a thread back in March of 2011

Using nylon spacers from Lowes, I created a pressure fit method of carrying an allen wrench on my BK2 sheath, easily accessible yet still very stable. Still on there to this day.
