Becker knives? Help

Hello all! I've been put on to Becker knives via Fred at the Knife Outlet, but I have no experience with them nor do I know anyone who has one. I searched some of the threads but I have a few more questions for the owners. I'm interested in the Brute and I'd like to know how it would compare to a Busse #9 or Battle Mistress. I already have a couple of Busse Basics and I'm very impressed, but I'm not totally convinced about the benefits of an asymetrical grind so I'm interested in the Becker line. Please, opinions, comments, and comparisons. Thanks in advance.

Johan,
Sorry this took awhile to respond, but I've been out of town. We have not yet started shipping the BK&T knives yet, as we are still waiting on the sheaths tocome in. That will make it tough to get meaningful 'field experience reports', but some folks may chime in with reports on the BK&T knives that were produced in the past.

I can't speak to the comparisons with BUSSE knives, but I believe you will be VERY happy with the performance of the BK&T BRUTE. I hope others feel free to comment.

Any info on when the sheaths will come in and knives will be shipped? Thanks.

I own a BK&T Campanion and love it. The only thing that I don't like about it is the fact that my hands make the metal tang rust a little when I use it a lot. I use the Marine Tuff Cloth with good results but would really like coating on the new Campanion to prevent it in the first place.

Thanks for the info guys, please keep it coming!
