Moose has got it ALMOST right...... Benner who is also known as the man with no neck and no central nervous system(when you hit John it hurts you, not him) was a founder and then field commander of the Hamilton County(HCPA) SWAT team for 20 years and then ran a drug task force in the Cincy area and then another tac operation in Eastern Ohio..... He owns The Tactical Defense Institute and is one of the premier tactical and firearms trainers alive today....I have never met a better teacher.......... A really solid citizen is John and a man can not ask for a better friend........ The TacTul was his concept..... A blade you could beat the hell out things with, chop and pry with and cut stuff with.....notice that cut is last on the list...... It has had a bunch of saves, and a bunch of operational use......The Special Ops people got it an NSS number and State's DSS bought a bunch..... The Muzzies in Libya call it a Becket(short for BK&T)....... It has been around and the thing DOES work........ Not much of a whittler tho.... LOL...

But it won't be discussed in here. The BKT forum is for discussing all things Becker, knives, cookbooks, softgoods, climbing gear, and so on.

I know it's not something E wants discussed here, as this has come up before.

Well, I did my research, and made up my mind.

I am glad to have came to the Becker line of knives, instead of elsewhere, and I appreciate this group more all the time. I just need to get to a Beckerhead gathering!
