Becker Master Series?

So what is the main difference between a normal Ka-Bar and Master Series? I just got a master series BK7, and want to know the difference. is it better or worse than the normal ka bar and beckers?
 
Good.... you used the search engine to find a thread that potentially had the information you sought.

Bad..... you forgot to READ the contents of the thread before necromancing a 3-1/2 year old thread.

Since nobody else wants to give you the bad news... Master Series is what the Chinese counterfeiters put on the box to make you think it's something special, when it's actually a fake.
You can be a great help in fighting this scourge by boxing up the knife and sending it to me with all the information on where and from whom you purchased it. I will attempt to track it down so these unscrupulous sellers can be stopped. Thanks for your co-operation.

Mater Series? Don't they come with a cartoon tow truck? Anybody wants to send knives my way, I'm down. I'll even reimburse for the cost of the cardboard sleeve, 'cause I'm like dat.

Yeah, there's a couple of 15s that are obviously fake.
Roll stamped with old coating and no First Production Run markings...can't believe I fell for it...

3 of them???? No wonder there's none to be found for those of us without. While you might be gullible, you have excellent taste and an embarrassment of riches.

I'm not sure what good would come from sending all three. I really only need one to document the incident. How about you just hang on to the top two and send me the bottom one. The top one looks great. :thumbup: What fasteners did you use? Are they available for the big Beckers?

I made the scales from leather. The fasteners are 8/32x3/8 and brass tube tapped 8/32. Had to drill the holes to fit the tube...not fun.
