Becker Micarta handles

Wow! Thanks for the heads up, Flotsam. Tomar's even beat Ka-Bar to the punch on these. Just a little under $40 for a pair. I see that they don't have the handles for the BK-11 yet, but one assumes that they can't be far behind. A lot of us have been waiting for these.
 
They look nice but a bit rough, has anyone used them yet? Reviews?

It wouldn't take ten minutes with an X-Acto knife and some sandpaper to smooth them out. I don't think anyone has used them yet -- they just came out. As soon as I get some money in the door, I'll pick some up.
 
Awesome I have been waiting for some micarda to co
e out for these. I don't think those are too rough. Micarda sort of has that look.
 
I just ordered three sets and hopefully will have them by the middle of next week. I like the looks a lot better than the ones made by Camillus. I'll let y'all know how they are as soon as I get them.

Tomar's says they'll fit BK 2, 3, 7, and 9. Does anyone know if they'd also fit a Brute or a Magnum Camp?

they are exact matches for the original handles, so should fit anything, i'd imagine.

they do not have hollows in the handles though.

also, they are quite smooth, but grippy. i've handle several samples and own two sets.

Does anyone know if they plan on offering other colors or just the tan?
 
I just went to Tomars website.
Price was pretty good. $37.42 for the set.
I live in Canada though, so I checked the shipping to me...$35.00 USD extra...
So my Micarta handles would cost me (living in Canada) around $72 USD
"BEFORE" customs duties and taxes which will probably be another $25 ...

Looks like I'm not going to be purchasing anything from Tomar unless he
decides to drop his international shipping rates. Too bad...
