Becker Necker as a survival blade?

Funny thing. My sheath arrived. The invoice, at N/C was dated 1/22/04, but the post mark on the envelope was the 4/28/04. Whoever saw this thread and passed it along, thank you.

I had something similar: A Camillus "Ol' Glory" Arclite with a Inova LED and a dog tag with a US flag on it. This was my "9-11 Homeland Defense Preparedness" kit. I've since rotated a plainedged CS MiniCulloden as my daily necker, with the Inova on a wrist lanyard of my SAK OH Trailmaster, and the dog tag with the van keys. I had a similar problem with the Arclite that QuietBear has with this Becker; too thin a handle leads to hand fatigue, and it twisted too easily in my hand while trying to cut. I considered adding the paracord handle, but I never did, thinking it would only look good with white or a red-white-blue cord (which I didn't find) but it would get dirty too quickly.
