I can't make up my mind. The price doesn't make a difference to me. I like the BK11 and have owned one in the past, but there is something about that Izula that looks pretty darn comfortable.

What do you ya'll think? Does anyone own both and have an opinion?

No one has an Izula because it hasn't been released to the public yet.

There are several places that now have the Izula in stock. As of right now it is just the tan and black. The OD green and pink are not yet out.

I ordered my black Izula today from Knives Ship Free.

Use the coupon code "christmas" and save ten percent off your order.

With the coupon I got an Izula for less than 50 bucks!!!

Now I have to wait on the postman!!:D

rekcut: im assuming u got just the knife and not the kit....
i want one so bad, maybe someone loves me enought to get me one for xmas

I'm getting both :)

I'm going to wait for the OD Izulas to come out first before I order, but I will get both eventually

At the price they are selling for I say get both and judge for yourself, thats what I am gonna do:D.

Nobody has the Izula. They are all preorders. Check the RAT forum.

if you don't get the kit, then you are looking at a 1095CV necker vs a 1095 necker, both skeletonized and coated.

Yes, there are some people that have the Izula. I've seen at least one in the for sale forum. There have been protos out for some time now.

Thanks for the input everyone.

Pardon me, I didn't realize it was out. It looks like it costs a bit more than the Becker. Is the added price worth it? I like the Becker. The edge is nice and thin, handle is just long enough.

No problem, bro

I like the becker, but I like the rounded end of the handle on the Izula.

i think, both it is :)

those protos are sabre ground and not spec'd like the retail models. Shon also had to have at least one to get the sheath made right. I didn't mean the things don't exist at all, just that KSF, Chestnut Ridge, and Two Wolves are pre-selling before the knives ship.

Understood, my friend.

Thanks for clearing that up.

The Izula looks very similar to the Swamp Rat Swamp Warden. The SW happens to be one of my favorite small fixed blades of all time. Easy to carry and it is a great woods knife. I think I am going to get the izula before I get the Becker.

I never really used my Camillus Becker BK11 - it was just slightly too big and heavy, and while the wire breaker was useful I didn't like the feel of that edge.

The Izula, at 2 ounces with a 2.88" blade and rounded handle looks more interesting to me.
I'll be getting one as soon as they're available.
