I'm thinking birdseye maple. Never liked cord-wraps, but I might put a lanyard on it with a few feet of cord braided up.

If I like it as much as you guys do, I may end up getting a couple. Y'know one for the BOB, one for the toolbox, one for the car

Ditto. Lazy bugger that I am. I just throw a whistle and lighter in my pocket, as I'm always by water. Very creative use of limited space!:thumbup:
