Do kneckers just stay in w/ friction in the sheath? I'm new to these. Interesting. I saw the picture and figured that was a can opener on the back. I never got why a can opener was such a staple on knives...

There's a SAK called "My First Victorinox" with a rounded tip and a CAN OPENER! Since sodas no longer come in glass commonly, are the Swiss raising a bunch of 6 year old drunks? :D
 
what kind of coating is on the bk11? Is it a durable coating or does it rub off easy?

If its the same coating as used on the other Beckers it is pretty tough.
 
What's the dimensions and what's the steel?

Will there be a tanto version in the future?
 
Got mine and I love it. The handle is just begging for para cord, beautiful blade, very light and handy. Like all Becker's, the blade looks like it would take on the end of the world and come back for more. Gotta wrap the handle then figure out a way to EDC it while at work.

The steel is the same used in the rest of the becker line, it takes a wicked edge and keep it very well. It'll have a 3.25 inch blade and will be 6.75 inches over all. If I remember correctly, it is compatable with the Mini Tek-Lok for belt carry or attachtment to gear. They may offer a tanto version eventually, but only after the production model takes off. If nothing else, you may be able to get one customized.

Here I sit, at home with a killer head cold, but with my just-arrived Becker Necker! Woo-hoooo! :D I almost forgot I bought this. I bought it from a guy over at AR15.com, and it's as cool as I thought it would be. Since I already told my local knife dealer I wanted one, I guess I'll have to be a true Promise Keeper, and go ahead and buy one from him too. No problem! geegee
