None of mine have a patina anymore....

I sanded it off, personally I like it without

I don't know why but today I decided to strip my BK2 and finish my micarta scales on my 14. I don't know if I'm gonna force any kinda patina on the 2 but we'll see as time goes by; I kinda like how it looks now. The stuff on the edge is wax from my leather sheath.

What methods are you guys using? The only thing I have used is the salt/hydrogen peroxide method on a restored axe project I did. It came out great, I may try it on one of my Beckers.

Does the apple trick work on the Becker metal, or is that strictly for softer stuff?

i would advise sticking with PC, unless you are a masochist or lazy, it's hard to tell sometimes over here at Rancho Bladito

nice icon :)

 Why I oughtta... (of course PC is where it's at!)
I'm learning to be more specific in here :D

For example: With my CV Case folder, if I cut up an apple with it, it's nearly an instant patina. I suspect this is a chrome vanadium only thing, though. What say you gents?

I just cut up an orange for my mid morning snack, added some very cool color almost immediately. I didn't bring an apple today, but I'll be having one after work

Here's my BK10 with a grapefruit patina.
