Nice. Hope she doesn't need to go to a new home. Good condition one's like that are getting harder to find.

I shot myself in the foot with that one too... My 1961 Jeep was out. I still think of vehicles from the 60's as classics and not "vintage," pre-antique or whatever label they stick on them now.

My father-in-law bought this one brand new when he completed his doctorate. He was ready to sell it around 1975, but my wife "made" him hang into in until she could drive. She bought it off him when she was nearly out of college, and DD it for 5ish years until she was able to secure reliable commuter transportation. I've been keeping it on the road for the past 15 years. It's not a dependable daily driver anymore, but is great for short trips and as an outlet for TLC and car-guy affection, as well as teaching basic maintenance to my daughters. Since last year, it's got a new top, tires, shocks, fuel gauge sender, and some interior panels. New paint wouldn't hurt it, but it's mostly holding up.
Looks like we're moving in to care for said father-in-law at the end of the summer, and I just don't know where to keep her anymore. Plus, he's not a big fan of the fluid seepage and at-home maintenance.
Still trying to work through it. Would be a shame to part with it after 49 years in the family.

Im game, but the internet might break and my wife will look at me even weirder then when I shaved another man's name into my chest hair....

i think the idea of seeing Ethan in a bikini might have scared a few folks away. Could you imagine being in the back country in a Borat getup?
