Lemme holler at the Major and see what he can do.

Show me a Becker and a mariachi! ¡OLE!

(If a mariachi isn't doable I will settle for a sombrero, but it better be a good one! None of those chintzy straw numbers!)

Nice cannon! Makes me wonder if we have any Navy Beckerheads, or around or near Camden, NJ, Mobile, AL, LA, or Wilmington...

C'mon people, at the very least a sombrero isn't too hard to manage.

Go to a mexican restaurant and snap a pic there!

When the Mariachi show up at Betty's, I'm ready with a knife and a camera. Might start a free-for-all but what the hell.

Yeah, but I'm all of 5ft 5 7/8" tall and all the sombreros I know of in local establishments are mounted high on the walls or even on the ceiling to prevent them from growing legs. I'd have to take a ladder too.

I know one that has mariachis in every other Thursday, but I don't know if tonight is the night. I'll stop by and see on my way into town.

I stopped by the restaurant that has mariachis on Thursdays (no sombreros on the walls).

They will be there from 7 - 9 tonight and I'll get a pic and post it then. However, my waitress asked why I was carrying a hunting knife and I explained about the photographic scavenger hunt and she said that her brother was a charro and had one of his sombreros in back. So after lunch, we got this to get the ball rolling again.

So I guess now let's look for a Becker and a McClelland saddle. A real one, not a photoshop Frankenstein jobby-do.

Well, got back from the absolutely fabulous wedding of my niece (the reception wasn't too shabby either - bottomless bar from 6 to 9 :D )

As promised, although a little delayed, a picture of a Mariachi band with two of my Beckers, a BK9 and a BK2, being held by one of the waitresses at the restaraunt when the band plays every Thursday night (used to be every other week, until about a month ago.)

Since it's been nearly 5 days and no one seems to be able to come up with a McClellan Saddle :( , I'll modify the hunt to a Becker with ANY type of Western saddle. Surely, someone out there has both.

Well, the bottomless part referred to the bar. If they had it, you could get it. My B-in-L footed the bill as part of the after wedding reception until 9 p.m. After that, you had to pony up, but trust me, by 9, very few folks NEEDED additional lubrication. And as we say, pics or it didn't happen....

First, the bride, Stephanie, my niece.

Next, the bride and her bridesmaids

Then the happy couple about to begin the "first dance"

The wedding party at the church after the ceremony. Proof I was there :D I'm the last one on the right.

The band, Chinatown Band, came down from Dallas for to provide the live music for the reception.
