  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Don't forget to wear your body armor. You never know when you'll need it.

Are you joking? I never take off my body armor.

BTW, that's me giving an office demonstration on how not to hold a samurai sword.

I'm just glad to see this place is finally getting some damn culture. How can I book the Milwaukee's Best Samurai for the Barlow Swamp Romp?

Well, I'm out there on the edge again, risking skin and soul for the pure acquisition of knowledge.
Tonight involved testing my GSI Camp Tumbler, and so I went with Tito's, a snippet of vermouth, and a dollup of olive brine.
Shaken, not stirred. Tito's is good stuff. It near made me an alcoholic one summer.
Look, if you're outdoors and you're not packing a GSI Camp Tumbler, well then you're just uncouth. I can't help you.

I'm getting ready to call Tooj at home and shout "tweener, tweener, tweener" over the phone.

toooj gave me his home number, but then changed it and told me to never call again. i think i confused his number for something else too many times

"hey, i wanna order a large one, yeah, hot, with meat, yeaaaah, extra sauce, bring it!"

or something...

to quote Murph, "this is a major victory."
With this new piece of kit there is no longer a need to pack iodine tablets or carbon filter into the woods.
