I guess I'm odd lol. I have no issues with the stock sheath itself. I do dislike the nylon belt attachment though. This is how I carry mine:

I carry IWB, abdomen, on the right side.

You're not alone bsmith. I like the stock sheath with shock cord lashing for the BK2.

The vertical carry adapters for both the BK2 and BK9 are under development. The BK2 adapter should be ready for order next week.
