Becker Storage

That is a Fiddleback Forge Bushcrafter. It has since flown the coop.
Great knife and wonderful craftsmanship. I cant say enough about Andy Roy's work!
It just wasnt seeing much use. The BK16 is the go to worker. :D
Hmmm...it seems I need an updated pic of the lnife box!

Thanks Johnny. I should have known - Andy's stuff always looks (and feels!) top-notch. Didn't recognize it with that big corby - he's been using micarta pins as long as I've been following him. I have one of his KE Bushies. I love it, but for that kind of dough, when something needs done, I just grab the 16. Don't know if I could ever part with it, though. Absolutely amazing craftsmanship.

So I've had all my fixed blades in one of my packs for quite some time.
It's gotten very cluttered and today I figured I'd do something about it.
I went out to the garage and grabbed a small tool box that I have'nt used much.
Emptied it out, wiped the dust off, put in some drawer liners, and slapped on a Ka-Bar decal.
I'm happy with the results. Now I can keep most of my blades organized and under lock and key.

So how do you all store your Beckers?

Thats a nice looking Esee3 too. :D

That's a great idea using the tool box.

I do not have that many knives so they are spread out. I got my 2 in the truck, the 5 and 16 is in the gun safe. The 14 goes everywhere I go so its storage area does not exist (its on my nightstand as I type this). Lastly, the 13 is hanging on peg in my daughter's room.

In NYC, apartment real estate is limited... I need to figure out how to make the Game of Thrones, Becker Throne, where the Beckers can be detached for easy access.

i store the non-useables in cedar chests. they locked. could be forced, but why bother? too big to drag, that's why :D i figure the closed environment gives them a bit of protection.

useables live in my kitchen draws - i have a lot, so i've dedicated many of them to the "big stuff". kitchen knives actually live ON the counter in "jars" filled with bamboo skewers. good system.

what i really need to do is organize all my tools. the garage is a poor environment - moisture and wet == rust over time, and the basement is too far away. so... i dunno.

drawers. big drawers :D

This is what you need Bladite.

I have a few of mine hanging up, but most are in a plastic tote.

Mine are in a heap on the bedroom floor. Need to organize. I got some knives on display on the wall and some hanging from pegs in a couple of boards screwed to the same wall, but the floor is a nightmare, I'm gonna take some time today to do something about it.

Hey Sidetracked, is that a modded 14 under the 16 in your 2nd shot?
