+1 on the hammer. That I would buy. Like right now.
 
That is pretty wicked! I like the long handle, and full tang construction (similar to a Winkler hawk) strikes my fancy! Great job, man. Let's see a prototype :D ...passaround anyone?
 
I like it. I think it is only natural to make 2 versions. One for utility & one for "handling your business !" LOL Have to support our soldiers wants & needs also.
 
Why not make it an "Exchange a poll" type tool and provide both types (hammer & spike) with the hawk? (Of course use standard "Becker/Allen screws)
 
It would have to be one or the other, I think there would just be problems if you try making them detacheable.

The spiked end would definetly be mainly for the military and possibly law enforcment(SWAT, HRT) community. I could see the hammer pole version to be an excellent camp tool. Plus it just looks friggin cool :D

Two suggestions on the blade itself: make the top edge flat, not swept up, and remove some of the "beard" on the bottom and I'd love to get one! :)

Has Ethan ever commented on making a 'hawk????
 
The hammer pole version definitely has my support. I'd probably like my handle shorter though for ease of carry and maybe the hammer extension shorter as well. Outstanding job, very cool.
 
don't need a hawk so much as an adapter for a BK2... something to bolt on, and give you a socket for a pole. i'm thinking like a halberd :)
 
And the obvious question, will it have exchangeable micarta for the handles? Ha!
