They ever get back on their feet? Last I knew there was talk of working with ...uh, KA-Bar? Not sure about that one.
Is the necker elusive as always, still?
Any word as to when they might be up & running again?

Wish I had search, I tend to give up after 5 pages of nothing pertinent.
 
Could you define "is"
As in, is it currently in production, or is this still just the general plan & they're still unavailable?
I didn't see them on any sites.
 
As in next month September. It seems a long time to wait. I hope this new move with Ka Bar will be a good one for them.
 
i was wondering about the san mai becker, have not seen them available as of yet. if ethan becker is out there please give us an update.

I got an email from Paul at KA-BAR today and he said the Becker Neckers are in the factory as we speak.

Blade magazine had an artical after BLADE 2008 that said that the San Mai Necker was going to be made in China!

It did not say where the standard version would be made, I would think Ethan would have more sense than to sell off his good reputation...look at the bashing Cold Steel took!

I think that the bashing CS gets is more related to Lynn's Marketing hype than his affordable line of (China made) knives.

A friend of mine is doing an article on it for TK magazine and I don't want to give too much away at the moment.

Oh boy, that looks nice. I wonder what the price-point will be, even roughly? Does anyone know?
