I just ordered a Chiappa Li'l Badger, should be a nice little pack rifle for acquiring small game meat while tramping in the bush.

Top one is a KelTec CMR 30. 16 inch barrel so as far as federal laws go it's a rifle but not sure about your local laws.

Lower one is a .308

I use a Ruger most of the time now

Only because magazines or parts easily obtainable and they are reliable and accurate too

3-day early antlerless rifle season runs tomorrow -Monday, and we had a cold snap yesterday, so temps are reasonable.
OTOH, full moon and clear skies mean not much movement during the day.
