Beckerhead fun

Welcome, and refer to Moose or Tomars for all your Becker addictions.

Edit: Tomars is one place, and Moose is not related by anything other than knives and forums as far as I know. Tomars is out of his website, and Moose is out of his sig.

Another difference is Tomars can not ban you for not buying from them...... :D

I just went ahead and ordered a BK14 which I will be sending off to Geoff to get some nice custom scales! I also went ahead and ordered my self a Kabar Law Enforcement TDI!

I am a really big fan of pocket fixed blades as a go everywhere EDC!

Welcome sir!

Stay around a while. I'm certain when you get to know me you'll see I'm humourless and ill-spirited. :D

Until then! Though it appears you have already made your choice, but get a 16. Complete the set.

Welcome!

Since nobody has said it. BK7. Throw it in some leather pants and pretend you're a cowboy. Big enough to hack and bang, and small enough to whittle and carve.

on second thought...BK5, I don't even own one but I know it's the right choice.

Well I can now see that I shouldn't have even asked which BK I should get next because I believe every BK has been covered at least twice!

I guess what I am getting from all this is I need to sell of my Umnumzaan and Strider to get a full set of BKs!

hahaha

on second thought... any Becker, I don't even own one but I know it's the right choice.

I'm going to claim the highlighted as my sig quote.

I'm actually a HUGE fan of the 3. I keep it in my car and while I'm sure I'm in the minority I think it is a great knife for keeping in a vehicle. It IS quintessentially the PERFECT survival knife, at least imho.

I believe you have misquoted me. Please don't alter my words for your own nefarious porpoises.

If I lived somewhere more fun where I could go hiking in the mountains or spend time in a forest I would defiantly keep a 3 in my car! Normally I keep my 2 in a Jumbo Versipack in my car with some other "bug out" stuff then when I need it at work I will just bring it with!

Iowa knife laws are pretty lame... You can conceal carry and fixed blade or folder under 5" and open carry anything up to 7 inches, then if you get a concealed license permit you can carry anything up to 7" concealed. Unless you are going fishing, hunting or camping in which case you can carry anything.

I know a lot of people that think it's overkill that I carry a 5" blade and a 2"-3" blade but personally I don't care! I love it! My BK2 is a little over 5" though so I normally don't go into public with it.

But hey, only 323 days until I get to finally carry a handgun.

As punishment Haze must give Dylan 3+ BK knives.

What a nice guy!

No worries man. I'll just take one. choose.

All yours, and I will fix my signature to match what you said to!

Dexter/Russel 6" butcher knife, MSRP of about $20, cost me a fraction of that :p He said he'd take one and I could choose which one that was, so I chose this.

I own A 9,4,3,14,,11,and2. If I could keep only two knives for the rest of my life i'd have to go 9 and 14 in that order. keep in mind I do not have a 5, 15,16,17. My next in line are 5,16,15 in that order. I don't know sh*t but for some reason I recognize good cuttlery and this is it. besides the fact i've beat the h*ll out of what I do own and it is the real deal.:)
oh, welcome and good choice of knives and people!!

That is quite the line up you have there! I would agree they have some of my favorite knives! As much as I like my CRK's I don't like beat on them! When I break out a Becker I'm all business!

Oxide, your PM box is full. Please remove my altered quote from your sig. Asking nicely :).

Sorry, it was a joke, and during my natural high in the middle of the night, seemed like a good idea, it will be gone.

this sucks. I have 5 knives on order but so far the only BKT in my hand is the -3! Even ordered a FPR to put away. Patience.
