BeckerHead gathering may 15 to may 18th. Darby Montana

I’m guessing there is 100 in the bag I’m sure Bill will share.

A quick question is there something to cook on there? Or is Jonny bring his grill? Just trying not to bring more then I need to.

I will not be bringing the Camp Chef setup.
I’m driving my Camry and space is at a minimum.
There is a pretty fancy cook shack on site though.

I can bring a folding grate for the fire pit if you want to be able to boil coffee in the AM before we start making breakfast in the shack on the gas griddle
I can even bring a 12 cup percolator in which to make said coffee.

I talked to E last night - Thursday supper is a stew, Friday is stuffed pork loin, Saturday is steak and taters.
breakfast is likely the typical scramble, and lunches are on your own.

I also looked at the forecast: currently calling for highs in the 58-62 range, lows in the 40-45 range. there may be rain.

Right now I’m a week out of back surgery so travel is not happening. But I got my wife’s attention. I told her since I have a Beckerhead number we could show up in Darby Montana and the author of the joy cooking cookbook would cook supper this weekend. If Ethan would come back to his old stomping grounds East fork state park I would be there. Please tell him that there’s an old hillbilly stuck on the west side of Cincinnati that appreciates his work and treasures a BK-10 as one of my prized possessions not only for the fact it is the best knife I own but also for the Beckerhead family who got it to me when I was having a hard time. You guys have a great time
