Which one do you think is the one that we should choose?

I love my JYD-II, but I think the ZT is the burlier knife, so that's how I voted.
If I could vote twice, I'd add the JYD.

you missed ZT0550/0551. thick, solid.. built like a tank. not that there's anything wrong with 560/561.. i just like 550 better. :D

If we have enough write ins to beat out the poll, then, that will be our blade. I was gonna put the 550 in there, but honestly, I think the 561 is built a little tougher.

I'll write in the Benchmade 275 Adamas. My first D2 blade and won't be my last. Closest thing I've seen to a Becker blade and handle in a folder.

Edit - I haven't looked around much to price the 560/1, but I think the 275 runs about half the cost and iirc, someone around here said Beckerheads are cheap.

Well the cold steel rajah II is probably the ultimate. The stuff I've seen on the rajah III looks impressive and I think I'll pick one up soon.

+1 On the Benchmade Adamas. Had a desert tan one until I fell for the "can I use your knife for a minute.." friend request..who lost it. Also think the DPx HEST 2.0 would be very good. I plan on getting one as a self bday present in October.

If its "Hard Use" then the most important feature is the lock-up mechanism ..... how can anyone compare the ZT frame-lock to Cold Steel Tri-Ad? Theres no competition ... Cold Steel wins every time.
Though honestly if its "hard use" then go with a fixed blade.

I'm curious why the locking mechanism is the sole determining feature of what makes a knife "hard use". Considering the lock's only purpose is to keep the blade from closing on your fingers, there should be no situations in which a quality lock would fail. If you have pressure being applied to the locking mechanism, you're typically doing something the knife was not designed to do.

I don't have any of those (though I want a 561 really bad) so my write in is for the Ontario Rat-1, it's not only the hardest use folder I own but maybe one of the cheapest (sums up the BH mindset I think).

I've got a 560 on order, should arrive this week. That being said, it will have to work awfully hard to kick my Gunnies out of my pocket. I will abstain from this poll until I get a chance to see how the 560 holds up.

I only own the ZT 0560. Skinned a squirrel with it last night. Including beheading, cutting of the tail and paws, and all it has to show for it is a nearly imperceptible flat spot in the edge.
Still cuts phone book paper, on the factory edge.:D

I think the Buck CSART folding knife should be listed. It's fairly inexpensive and built like a tank.
