Searched and didn't see any topics of this being done already but wondering what kind of multitools my fellow beckerheads are carrying on a day to day basis.

I'll post photos later, but I just added a cheap Husky pouch to my BK2 sheath and think I'll be utilizing it with my Leatherman Rebar or an altoids tin fire kit and my Gerber Dime.

I love my Leatherman and basically swear by only their multitools but I really like the Dime for a micro option since it has both scissors and pliers.

Anyway, I'd love to see what my fellow 'Heads carry and why they choose to carry them.

I usually just carry my Vic Camper now, but I was hooked on my Wave there for some time.

When I go to the woods I always have my leather an sidekick on me, favorite multitool I own, actually I traded a $3 frost knife for it a few years ago, best trade I ever made

Leatherman Rebar or Sog Powerlock w/vcutter i have and like both alot. SOG is way more comfortable and feels better built but the Leatherman has better tools. Also been EDCing this TT chopper tool since i got it.

Always in my pocket is a Leatherman Skeletool with the blade removed. In my daily carry pack is usually a Super tool 200 or my Surge. Which ever isn't my pack is in my Jeep . I have a Wave and a couple Brewzers that float around too.

Don't have any pics right now but basically if it says Leatherman on the side it's G2G. I have a Sidekick that normally gets carried, an old and a new Wave, and a ST300 for the pack when I'm hiking. I have a PST II on my work gear. Had a crunch and a micra that never got used so I gave them away.

You should make a little O-1 prybar or somesuch to replace that blade-still not a "knife" but one more useful bit.
Taking the blade out is a great idea btw.

Seat's taken.

If I'm not mistaken he replaced it with a key to his jeep

Good memory. Yep, seen the idea in Backwoodsman mag first. Later Derek showed me his Leatherman keychain that is similar, that sealed the deal.

I definitely like the idea of putting a car key into the leatherman. I might just have to do that when I decide to purchase another leatherman and get a better vehicle.

I actually want to get several other multitools to keep in the various toolboxes I have floating around and leave my rebar at work where it gets used daily (well, whenever I finally get to go back to work that is).

Keep in mind that if the vehicle has a chip in the key that the computer recognizes it won't work. Which is most vehicles from the mid 90's and up.

If my truck key didn't require some damn stupid-assed microchip in it, I would have done this months ago. Such an awesome idea. Maybe I just need to get a Jeep.

I try not to get vehicles with micro chipped keys. I like cars and trucks usually from 94 and older, newer stuff looks too much like an escape pod and not enough like a car. Truthfully if I had my way I'd have a nice F100 or a Jeep Grand Wagoneer. One day, my dreams will come true.

I carry a gerber mini multi-tool and a SAK traveler. I'd potentially drop them both for a Leatherman Wave or Mutt

I use a wingman at work , its a shit tool so I just use it to cut boxes. All the other lrathermans are good , love my wave

I carry my Leatherman Wave pretty much everywhere. I didn't used own one until a year ago. How did I get so far in life without the thing? It's so dang useful.

I just treated myself to a Leatherman OHT today. I have a smaller leatherman that was my grandfathers, but I don't care for the unfolding. I prefer the one handed slide out. I guess I got hooked on that feature with the Gerber I carried in the Army, but I ended up giving that away to a friend who needed a multitool.

Uh, dude. ...welcome back!
