Beckerhead Multi-tools

Here's the pouch I added to my BK2 sheath, I cut out the logo on the front, looking for something to affix onto it in its place...a signal mirror maybe, I am looking for good ideas.

As you can see it fits my Rebar with room to spare. I don't know if I should just use it for this purpose or do the fire kit. I can always shove a Ferro rod in there alongside the tool though.

I always carry my Surge in my bag and keep a Wave or Blast in the car plus I've got a Victorinox OHT in my pocket most of the time.
Pics later if I get a chance.

I carried a Wave for a long time but now it rattles when I walk. One of these days I'll get around to sending it back. I picked up a LM Crunch at a pretty good discount at a hardware/gun store years ago and I've been carrying it since the Wave rattle got too much. I like the idea of the mini-Vise-grip.
On my duty belt is a SOG Power Plier and that's a very good tool too.

BK-2 and a Supertool 300? What else could you need?
Not actually a Beckerhead, just a fan and user of Becker's. Maybe someday.....

I'm looking to replace my wingman with another leatherman for work duties this month when I get paid . Now to look at my options. I love my wave that lives in my Psk , I also own a super tool 300. I might look at a surge or similar for work .

I don't think you'll be disappointed. The only complaint I ever hear about it is that it's heavy. I think people just need to hit the gym.

I'm looking to replace my Rebar at work as well. I love it but want something a bit beefier on the job. Maybe will go for a wave. I like having to not open the thing for access to the other tools, but still I don't think the wave is beefy enough. I have to say while I thought I'd use the blades most on it I actually use the pliers more than anything else on my multi tool.

Leatherman OHT is a beast!! Its also a slide out for one handed operation. Its fantastic!

I'll let you guys know what I end up with . I work as a Storeman so I'm around a warehouse , pallets , forklifts etc all day for work. Need a knife to cut boxes , after that mostly screw drivers , occasionally the pliers , definitely the bottle opener :)

I'm either looking into that one or a surge after a bit of quick research on the river store. I think the Surge would definitely serve me well for anything I can think of at work if paired with the bit kit. The OHT would be nice around the molding machines for quick deployment of pliers though since I use them a lot to pull stuck plastic that isn't directly against the tools.

Decisions decisions once I get back in the shop and have some spare coin in my bank account...

I myself am just gonna wait til I get paid , then goto my local surplus store . They carry the full leatherman line. They don't know their elbow from their asshole when it comes to knives , but at least I can look at all the leathermans and make my decision

I carry my Wave with bit kit in my briefcase everyday. Fantastic tool and it has come in handy so many times.

Also have a Wingman that I carry in my suitcase when I travel.

I carry my Wave pretty much all the time. I just added the bit kit to it as a Independence Day gift to myself.

Of course it's kid of like owning a truck. "Hey, Ivarr! Can you come fix this for me?" You never know just how many friends you have until you have a truck and a good number of tools.

The one man transport and fix-it shop.

It's heavy, but I carry a Swisstool in small bag in my everyday backpack.. had it for almost 15 years now, use it for everything.
