Post up your progress for May for MYB and BSP. GET FIT!

Scoring:

The idea is simple. Move your body. Get fitter.

Between the dates of (insert current month) 1 and (insert current month) 31, the challenge is to earn 50 Becker Points. Points can be earned in the following fashion:

1 mile (1.6 km) on foot = 1 Becker Point
3 miles (4.8 km) road cycling = 1 Becker Point
2 miles (3.2 km) mountain biking = 1 Becker Point
1 mile (1.6 km) swimming = 4 Becker Points

Yoga - 12 min = 1 Becker Point

If you just do one thing, you'll need to hoof it 50 miles, or road bike 150 , or mountain bike 100 miles, or swim 12.50 miles. You may combine items to build toward 50 Becker Points in any fashion you choose. Honor system in play.
This thread will be the place where people report in on their progress.

BSP:

200 light reps = 1 BSP
100 medium reps = 1 BSP
50 heavy reps = 1 BSP
30 very heavy reps = 1 BSP
300 heavy punching bag combos = 1BSP

Definitions:

Light rep: a rep that can be done 15+ times without resting. Most body weight exercises will fall into this category.
Medium rep: a rep that can be done up to 14 times, with reps 12-14 being challenging, and 15 near impossible without assistance.
Heavy rep: a rep that can be done 6 times, with reps 4-6 being very challenging, and 7 near impossible without assistance.
Very heavy: a rep that can be done twice, rep 3 impossible without assistance.
Heavy punching bag combos: a set of at least 2 moves (ex jab and straight, jab roundhouse kick, etc) done sequentially.

Light - 15+ reps
Medium - 7-14 reps
Heavy - 3-6 reps
Very Heavy - 1-2 reps

Rainy day here to start off the month, my body was achy and I didn't have too much energy. Spent 40 min doing Yoga

myb: 3

Actually managed to get out on my bike before the rain started to fall here. 33 miles. Kept passing people going in the other direction - charity ride for the American Lung Association, I think.

11 BP to start the month.

Boy are my legs tired.

Oh snap! I didn't realize it was May already. I was one point off last month, darn! Anywho, starting off with 1.25 points for MYB May after a brief bike ride today :)

MYB 1.25 +3+3+1= 8.25. Going to try and do more running, my standup desk and strength training seems to have helped the hip pain from this winter. That and time probably helped. I want to do a run once a week that's for as long as I can go without totally dying. So I'll be doing that today!

This is the best MYB/BSP post ever. I used to do that kinda stuff, now it's mostly, uh, driving. Some days I get to walk and/or go up and down stairs a lot for work. But I seem lately to be getting a lot of windshield time.

Worked up a bit of a sweat wailing away with the 20 & 21 tonight. Pretty sure there are no points involved, but I soaked my hat pretty good. Damn, work is cutting into my free time.

myb: +2.5 = 21
bsp: +3 = 15

myb:+2 = 23 - mountain biked pulling my son in the trailer for a short ride this evening.
bsp: +3 = 18

That's one of the better kinds of workout Mike!

Was playing with the kids and pulled something in my back. Nothing serious, just enough to cause mild discomfort between my shoulder blades. Took yesterday off to rest. Didn't really have time for both a run and a workout, so I did a short leg workout instead. Quads burning  My body is telling me to rest... but it needs to wait another week :D One of my buddies is getting married the weekend of the 20th. Going away to a resort up north for it, THAT will be my rest time (or maybe not if they have some nice trails).

Finally got out again this morning before heading up to the Gathering. I really gotta figure out a plan for something daily (other than shooting my bow [emoji4]) 30 miles.

10+11=21 MYB pts.

I'm not in a place to check my fitness notes so I haven't added my points lately, but I wanted to ask of anyone has seen crimsonfalcon? Just wondering since the Spartan thing was his jam.
