Beckerhead north east meet up??

Other than upstate NY or northern ME, everything is pretty close, IMO. I'm in NH.
We need to agree on a place, date, then see who could come.
 
I like NH for a state that lets it all hang out! I don't care if its in ME or VT, CT and RI don't really float my boat really, but thats not a big deal to get to either.
I am a heck of a lot closer to NH and VT than anywhere. I live one town south of the border.
What are we thinking, a camp out? If so, private land is always better, but maybe someone knows of a really cool private park that would cater to a largish group.
If we are talking about a meet up for an afternoon, there is a knife show in Marboro MA every once in a while, that is central in the state and closer to both borders.
I would think a 2 night meet up is best, so that folks that drive a bit don't feel like thats all they are doing!
Anyone up in NH have a spot like a back lot field or something, where a bonfire can happen and tents can get set up at? We could rent a porta potty for short money and have some pot luck dinner type things going on.
Trade blankets are always cool!
It hunting season up this way now, deer will start in NH soon, and MA it starts on Oct. 17th, so tearing through the woods would be considered bad form for most people. A private field would be best...or a really cool camp ground..with cool owners, and beer.
Are there any shows or places we could meet up at for a day.
 
I am so down for this! I live in Maine, I'd travel to NH if need be. Vt is a stretch and the rest of New England is just crazy! lol. Lets get some dates soon cause I got some vacation time I need to use before November. I actually have Oct, 8th (my B-day) 9th, and 10th schueduled off. Unlike the rest of the world, I work weekends.

Trailbum were are you in NH? I am about an hour or so from North Conway.

Not an official Beckerhead yet either, but I'd love to make it. The closer it is to Maine the more likely it is I can make it....
 
I'm in RI (answering Trailbum's Q). I'm so overcommitted that I probably couldn't spend a full day/night, but if the destination were within range I would try to do a drive-by.

edit: and by "within range" I mean by normal standards, not the native Lil'Rhody more-than-ten-miles-get-a-hotel-I've-never-been-to-Connecticut standard.
