park fees are $4 per person per day and $12 per car per day

anyone interested post up -- I'm also making a similar post on the ESEE Forum, because those folks are fun to camp with, too.

Vik puts on one helluva good spread, and throws a good party. I been to a couple. :D

Anyone in the area needs to show up for this, you will have a good time. Oh, and Vik, punch TTD for me and tell him I still love him, even though he never calls anymore. :D

I would love to go, only about a 3hr drive but unfortunately I will be working that weekend with only a few hrs off for my neice's bday.
 
Sounds fun but that is deer killing time........kind of like a National holiday around here.

Bambi will always be out in the woods waiting for you -- but it's getting late in the season for campouts.
and there will be a trade blanket -- TexasTonyDobbs always brings good gear for those!

don't tell me you are all going to abandon me to a bunch of heathens like those RAT Packers!!! :D

I'm freaking dying to go to this. Its a bit of a drive for me but I'd love to make this one. Why can't more of my friends be into outdoors stuff? Carpooling is so much easier.
 
I'm in Austin but will round up my horses and see if I can make it out there.

Man.I wish I could go to that one. But I am taking the little woman to Fredricksburg that weekend.

Thank you for your kind offer. Unfortunately I have one commitment which I was not able to postpone and cannot make it.
I'll add all the members of this thread to my directory so we can stay in touch and consolidate this group into more frequent gatherings.
Have fun out there and don't forget to post some pics.
 
Is this campout open to everyone or Beckerheads only? I'm sort of a noob here but I'm interested.. I live in Edmond, just north of OKC, so it's only about two hours away from me. Let me know...
 
If I still lived in OK then I would totally be down, but now that is about a thousand miles for me to go.

I went to UCO my freshman year back in 2000!

That's where my wife went to school...I went to Florida State. UCO is about a mile from my house.
