Anybody making them? Aside from the expected "I resolve not to make any resolutions"?

Last year, I resolved to get in better shape, and though it took the whole year, I dropped close to sixty pounds and got my wind back.
This year, I want to curb purchases, streamline and organize current possessions, and eliminate some material clutter. At the same time, I want to use and enjoy more the things I already have.
Who knows? I might even sell a stove!

Well, since I'm starting at my first job tomorrow, a whole new chapter opens up for me. That's a good opportunity to just try and go for it. I'm only here once, might as well make the best of it. Work hard, play hard. Kiss ass hard. Earn more money hard. This also allows me to change something to my diet. Gonna try to eat more fruit, and move a bit more. I'm psyched for 2014!

Yes, I'm naive in my enthousiasm.

My new years resolution is to be a better man. Trying to organize some clutter and get rid of stuff that I have no need for.

I resolve to:

1) loose more weight
2) get organized
3) buy more Becker, Kabar, and Western knives.

I predict, based on past performance, that I have a chance at accomplishing 1 and 3. 2 may end up being the ninth piglet on an 8-teated sow.

Spend as much time as we can outdoors. Goal of 100 bag nights.

Spend more time doing stuff with friends.

Do at least three big trips.

I plan too lose weight get a bk 9 be a better husband and human being and too get into shape and make it too a gathering sans underwear of course!

My new boss has suddenly gotten onto me for what he calls ...the way i talk to my employees. I need to work on being more polite/professional
this is in combination with my wife saying i need to work on my patience and how i talk to other people. Something is telling me that these things are intertwined and so my resolution is to try not to lose my cool, take a breath before opening my mouth and think about what i say to people. I resolve to stop worrying about things that 1) dont affect me or 2) are beyond my ability to control.

You could lump that in with being a better boss/person/husband i suppose
I am also embarking on a 5 month resolution to carry just one particular pocket knife for the next 5 months. Make it mine and hopefully that will curb my materialistic/collecting side and hopefully make me more appreciative of what i have rather than being jealous of what everyone else has.

this is shaping up to being a big year in my life i think

I resolve to be less judgmental of other people, and be more sensitive to other peoples lives/feelings, whatever. I also resolve to watch less tv and be more productive every day.

Gonna lose 12 pounds, take more climbing trips and spend more time outdoors with Christine.

My goal for the new year is to slim down all my possessions to the point at which I could fit everything in the bed of a pickup truck. I have too much stuff.

Also I'm weighing in at 230 right now. Have a goal to to be down to 180 by June.

My resolution is to accept the fact that not everyone is high speed and low drag as myself; if you can't keep up, I'll just take your milk shake and drink it...mental filter is permanently off, and tough love and take no prisoners is my mantra.
