Beckerhead shirts!

Well I'll tell ya. I tried to become a paying member of this site months ago. I paid. I waited 30 days and no membership upgrade (I know all about the deal where you upgrade your membership status youself). They never got that far. After 30 days I stopped payment and got my $$ back. I have read that the person that approves the Beckerhead membership takes his sweet time to do so. It's all on this site to read about if you have the time. Along comes the contests and shirts for Beckerheads only. Let me ask you what would you be thinking if you were me?
Someone else had problems with their membership payment too. Moose, who approves Beckerhead status, hasn't been around much lately do to his work schedule.

As far as your last question goes, it wouldn't bother me a bit. When I first started coming to this forum, I wasn't a Beckerhead either, and couldn't enter the contests. I had to wait my turn, so to speak. Ethan has contests here, some for Beckerheads only, some for anyone. I'm on many other forums as well. Sometimes I can't enter, because it's for paying members only, which I am not. I do sometimes enter the others, however.

Everyone on this site is great. I am not bothered by anything. I just have a hard time understanding anyone with an internet forum would not take my money and keep his end of the deal. Thirty days? Is that a joke? Doesn't really matter to me if someone does not want my $$. I will continue to purchase Becker Knives. They are the best cut for the buck. If I have to wait around a year to become a Beckerhead after I have applied, that just kind of turns me off. Look at the list of Beckerheads and count them. Not very many. Wonder why that is?

It takes along time to earn your BH# because Moose personally verifies that the posts you have posted here in the Becker forums arecontributing and meaningful posts and not short ones like "cool" or "I'm in"--and that takes time. but occasionally people like that sometimes slip through. there is a guy on here (not gnna name any names) that all he ever says is "I'm in. thanks for the chance" and "pass the girly beer":D

(I am now going into the witness relocation program)

It's not that he takes his "sweet time" He has a life and job and so forth, I don't think an Internet message board is his end all be all. Just my opinion. I think this is a great idea, and it seems like people are getting pissed about it. Want to be a Beckerhead, put in the effort. This is a great group of people who are extremely generous and kind. Maybe one day another nice and generous person will offer to make a BK&T shirt for BF members.

Best place to find out why your payment didn't go through is HERE

Best place to find out how to become a Beckerhead HERE

In the mean time enjoy the forum, incredible group of people here. Including Moose, the inconsiderate guy that takes forever to approve Beckerheads, because he is off working 70 hour weeks and being a father.

its more than just being a bf member i think being a beckerhead is about helping members out posting good and intereting info. i've done a cople of small give aways that where not beckerheads only and have seen a bunch more in the short time i've been here. if ya wanna be a contributing becker enthusist then doing what is required too be a beckerhead is not much you moose and ethan too ask, and it does have a few perks no doubt but i would not make that a prority!! just my input thx for the insight guys and thx 710 for the great idea!!!

I'd be thinking "Man I really want to be a Beckerhead"...lol
Thats exactly what I thought after hanging around this forum for a bit.
I gathered all the requirements, submitted my application, and waited patiently...
Im glad I did. Ive had the opportunity to make some very fine acquaintances.
By the way jonc123, that "person" who "takes his sweet time" to approve Beckerhead status does more for this forum than you could ever imagine.
If you want a Becker shirt, Ka-bar sells them.
But dont come into here and whine about Bladeforums not taking your money. BK&T has nothing to do with that. Beckerheads have nothing to do with that. There are not many Beckerheads because some folks don't want to make an effort or take the time to meet requirements and wait for approval.
Somethings in life are earned jonc123.
710 is doing an awesome thing here and you dumped on his thread.

i have too agree with jonny1280 i understand you're concerns but it does come off a bit harsh too 710 and his idea.

Hey all I'd be down for at least 1 but r we stick on the 3x?? I prefer 4 to compensate shrinkage and genalized looseness lol sucks being a big guy but I still want 1 lol

I think it's a great idea. Still trying to become a Beckerhead ...although I consider myself one anyway, at least in spirit. I can wait, tho. I used to do some screen printing - I'm betting there'll be some left, even a year from now (probably not in my size, tho ;)). They look pretty cool, IMO.

Lol. I'm getting some humor here. Hoping none of the guys from the fitness challenge thread are ordering the double x and up shirts. Gonna have to go a size smaller to really get motivated :-). Sweet digs, I like em.
