Beckerhead 'Spartan' fitness MYB / BSP July

Ey folks! I haven't been counting numbers, but I am staying physically active, I swear! :D
 
myb: +3=27
bsp: +3 = 14

myb: +4.5 = 31.5
bsp: 14

Went out for a jog, took my oldest because he wanted to play pokemon. Ended up running 2 more miles then usual because he wanted to incubate an egg lol.
 
MYB: 21+2=23
BSP: 2

Got 2 miles of walking in yesterday, this week hasn't been very productive.

Ran a Warrior Dash obstacle race today, it was only 3 miles in total and 15 obstacles, so I'd prorate those 3 BPs with an extra 2 as it felt way harder than a typical walk.

MYB 23+5=28
BSP: 2

I don't look happy, but only because I had just taken a cold shower to wash off a thick layer of mud from the last obstacle, a sea of mud with barbed wire string over the top to force you deep into the mud. I did enjoy it immensely.

I.....don't think there is any chance in hell that I will eventually do those.....

Finally got back on my bike after...oh, 22 days. Didn't kill too much. Surprised I managed 30 miles....left interior quad was threatening full on mutiny the last few miles. Still - nice to get out and not feel like such a slave to the grind. Unfortunately, tourist season is in full power and drivers are.....distracted by the scenery, I reckon. Though, some of the locals are driving like jerks, too. Kinda sad when a LOCAL guy looks you in the eye, then pulls into the rotary, forcing you to hit your brakes - on a bicycle. Luckily I'm a better bike handler than he was a judge of speed.

BSP: been shooting my bow more days than not.

Finally got in another ride today; 35 miles. Thanks to Tim for holding down the fort while I've been absent.

Ended the ride at my favorite Kaffee place - pretty much doing a CTRL-Z on my workout:

I was on vacation in New Brunswick :D enjoying the beach. I did get some nice runs in tho, need to sort through all my pictures.

36 miles on the bike today....kinda hot. Sweated buckets. Post ride eis Kaffee at my favorite place.

Saturday saw me hike up to Snow Lake, a nice alpine lake at about 4000', since we started at 3000' and went an extra 400' above the lake to then come back down, the total altitude gain over the 9 miles we walked was about 1800'.

The views were foggy until right by the lake, then they cleared up when we were leaving. Here's an album of all the pictures for those curious.

I also did some heavy lifting moving around furniture the 3 hours at the parents' house in preparation for installing carpet and painting the walls. I'd say maybe 1 BSP for that.

bsp: +1.5 = 43 - mountain biked the normal running rout with the dog. Didn't have lots of time this morning. Trying to get back into my routine.

We were going to hike a full 12 miles in, but ended up saving 5 of those by hitchhiking with a guy who had a lifted Astro van that was a kickass off-roader

Lifted Astro for the win! My first car was an Astro, and there is still a part of me that wants to kit one out as an off-roader/camping vehicle!
 
Lifted weights briefly for the first time in awhile. No points, but it felt great.

Went on a 6-mile river trail ride yesterday, had some nice greenery along the trail for being in the middle of a warehouse district.
