Beckerheads, Lay Out Some Tunes

If the answer is "Heavy funk metal" the answer is "CLUTCH"

Find me a better lyric than "We yabba dabba doo all the way to shangri-la"

"I never ever sweated the fortune and fame game. Nevertheless, I am flying down the left lane..."

Blast Tyrant and Clutch are my 2 favorite albums... Elephant Riders also whips @ss.

I've been listening to this song a lot, They Say by Scars on Broadway. The compilation video of Charlie Prince just makes it better. Schofield revolvers are the tits.

Troy. These are some buddies of mine who have become the most popular local band in Springfield, MO. They recently won a contest sponsored by a Springfield TV station, and made this video.

Proof that the common rooster can make for a mighty fine musical instrument...

When I feel intense and alive, it's Amon Amarth Cry of the Blackbirds. Can you feel the rush ?

When I feel like a more mellow groove, it's Opeth's Harvest.

For a kick ass catchy groove, it's Susperia Home Sweet Hell

Susperia also does a kick ass WASP cover. Wild Child.

Moose, you should go see Korn playing, I went last year with some of my old highschool buddies in April and it was insayne.

Love the Murphy's! Wish I could find something similar with more bagpipes though. Love some pipes.

Other than that, I have a bad habit of listening to hardcore 80's pop. It's a weakness.

Ceann or Great Big Sea? Not much on the pipes, but excellent music nonetheless. Perfect would be Off Kilter, though- pure Celt rock, problem is they only play at Disney World.

I would, but I have this thing about large crowds of people. I don't go to games, concerts, or large stores. I have panic attacks in large crowds, and since I go armed just about everywhere, I feel like I am saving someone's life by not going. :D

I did see ZZ Top once, great show. For 3 guys, they rock out loud.

I'm a "simmer," meaning I fart around with Microsoft Flight Simulator for relaxation. I'm also a guitarist/singer/songwriter, and took the opportunity to mix a couple of songs of mine in with video of a simulated flight over a fictional airport in Malibu, CA. The first song is called "I Took A Chance" and the second is an instrumental called "I.B. Jammin'." I play a little keyboards too, and all the instrumentation is a combination of me playing over a MIDI sequence which includes all the drums and some repetitive phrases of synths and horn sounds. All vocals, bass, guitars, leads and most keyboard lines are me playing.

Oh, I'm also "flying" the plane! LOL

Hope you enjoyed that. It's all I have of my stuff posted anywhere, but I will post some other stuff that's more in line with what everyone else is posting shortly.
