I just recently became one of you guys, and I was pretty excited to find out what number I would be assigned. I liked the idea of being assigned a number...easier for myself and easier for the powers that be as well. Sort of like an online present seeing what I'd get.
I do like the idea of people being able to choose numbers significant to them too, though.
So keep an open mind about it, maybe you'll luck out on a number you like anyways
