Have any Beckers with wood handles?
If not I recommend it! Ha!
This is easily the best 145 bucks I've spent.
Without a doubt I can rely my life on this blade. The handles just adds that touch to make it mine.
I don't at the moment, but in time I think I'll come over to the dark side. I can only hold out for so long...
In all honesty, I was looking at different beckers to see which would best wooden handled project for me right before I say your post.
If you do decide to blue it, then Oxpho-Blue seems to be a great option. I looked into reblueing for my SKS a while back and that stuff seemed to be the best bet.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll have to think on it for a while.Oh wow it's pretty cheap thanks for the link!
And I was always an ESEE fan and finally bought my first Becker about a month and a half ago.
I will never look back to any other companies besides ESEE and Ka-Bar to be honest, unless a custom.
The BK9 is one HELL of a blade, easily the largest knife I have ever owned but is also one of the most highest of quality.
Better than my Benchmade that's for sure.
The BK2 is supposedly and excellent mid length knife and will probably be my next purchase.
The Becker side is the best side!![]()

No problem for the link. I think that a blued blade can look nice with wooden handles if the shade of the wood doesn't throw it off.
I think the blueing will look pretty nice. If you do end up blueing it, then I'd be interested to see some pics. It's a rout I'm possibly interested in taking with a knife sometime.I'm a fan of really dark wood handles and furniture so I feel like a dark blueing would be perfect.
I also saw these and I will pick up these if I do get a BK2.

Love the pattern on them.
Take your time, 'buy one blade that you won't regret, and your grandchildren will enjoy it also.'
I always wait a month before buying a blade to make sure it's what I truly want.
And I don't regret it, just don't watch all the countless BK9/BK2 videos, you might fall in love too quickly!!

I like to wait as well. Nothing is worse than dumping a ton of money on something then realizing you would have preferred a different knife.
Unfortunately for me, I live in Connecticut. So I can't take any knife with a blade of 4" + off my property. Meaning that the BK11, BK14, and Remora are the only BK knives I'll really end up using. Everything else will just sit around waiting for me to play with it periodically.
EDIT:
Thanks Warrior. I remember reading that a while back but it slipped my mind.
Oh I'm sorry, will edit it out.For the record, you're not supposed to link to other stores, unless they're a supporter here.
