Which begs the question...
What are we thinking for competions this go around?
I can bring the 10/22 and some ammo for some sharp shooting.
And I may have a new idea for the chopping contest. Just need to figure out a few details....
 
I enjoyed the clay shooting, but that's 'spensive. I also liked the spear-making/throwing competition.
 
I was thinking about making a clay target holder for competition shooting but I doubt I'll have time. Maybe by fall...
 
I just hope it stops raining. This is the wettest winter I can remember. The fire starting contest might be tougher than ever.

Really, I was planning on it this year. But unexpected family obligations are eating in to my available vacation time, and it's a really long drive for a 2 day weekend, so it just isn't working out this time.
Have to see for the fall.
 
Hopefully you do! It's worth it! 710 lives down in your area ish too.

Carpooled up with Julio a couple years back. I don't think you made it to that one.
It's where I got my 9. Ask Jonny and Abrasion who left the Scotch out all night...

I don't think it'll suck too bad, but my Dad isn't as sharp as he once was and needs someone to keep an eye on him and keep 'im out of trouble. And drive him around.
My step sis and bro (who live nearby and usually cover for Mother) need to come down my way for a memorial service for Their Dad. So, yeah.

Well... If I am attending, there can't not be Scotch! :D A fine Islay will pair nicely with just about everything there.

I play guitar and fiddle. A buddy that is planning on coming with also plays guitar and is better than I am, I could probably convince him to bring one.
